I read with a 5th grade girl at the elementary. Her theory on her state of mind during the week: "Monday, I'm down in the dumps. Tuesday, I'm getting warmed up. Wednesday, I'm half-way there. Thursday, I'm almost pumped up. Friday, I'm ready to go do whatever crazy thing I want. It's the weekend!"
I will miss reading with these kids.
